Quooker – The boiling water tap

Quooker – The boiling water tap

The Quooker tap is now a must-have addition to any new kitchen. Is there really a better way to have on-demand boiling water directly over your sink? You wouldn’t want a a ‘tea urn’ taking up vital worktop space, or even for that matter an electric kettle when you can have a stylish and luxurious tap.

Rock & Co are authorised retailers for Quooker taps, so we can supply the full range at great prices to compliment your new Granite or Quartz worktops.

What are the advantages of a Quooker Tap?

Quooker is a tap that immediately dispenses boiling water. The tap is fitted on the worktop with a tank underneath. A 100% Dutch invention. You can choose between a separate boiling water tap with accompanying mixer tap, or the new Quooker Fusion: a single tap for hot, cold and boiling water. Ultra-safe, super-efficient and available in eight tap designs and three finishes.

The tap be used for all of your everyday requirements including: Cooking vegetables, Making coffee, Cooking pasta, Removing candle wax, Making tea, Preparing noodles, Cleaning pans, Sterilizing dummies and much more.

If you thought that the Quooker might be wasteful then think again: the patented high-vacuum insulation ensures that the Quooker’s standby usage is just 3 pence a day. For even more efficiency, choose a COMBI tank, a single, amazingly economical way to produce both hot and boiling water.

Other questions we get asked:

Can I have both a Quooker tap and a standard tap? Yes you can have more than one tap installed, we would suggest you do this only with a single Quooker and not with the Twintap.

What about safety? You have to be careful when dealing with boiling water. Knocked over kettles cause hundreds of casualties each year, especially for young children. Such accidents are a thing of the past with the Quooker, thanks to its childproof handle and insulated sides that ensure it never feels hot to the touch. The water is boiling, but the flow is a fine spray rather than a solid jet, giving you plenty of time to get your hands out of harm’s way. Safety and ease of use go hand in hand with the Quooker.
