Quartz is durable, but it is not heatproof or scratchproof. Do not place hot pans or oven trays directly on the surface; use a suitable trivet and follow the manufacturer’s care instructions. Use a chopping board for food preparation.
Do not assume an indoor quartz product is suitable outside. For an outdoor kitchen, choose a surface expressly approved by its manufacturer for that use and check the warranty conditions.
